Do you remember Fimo, you know, the brightly coloured squishy dough of yesteryear that you made a few beads with and then left it to go hard in the drawer? Well, it’s all gone grown up, up market and can be made into a work of art.
In this workshop you will learn the craft of blending colours beautifully, add a colourful texture that you can see but cannot feel and create a glass like shine to the sumptuous pendants and beads. I’ll show you how to stack the clay, roll with a pasta machine, add deep texture, slice through and reveal the hidden pattern underneath. You’ll cover puffy pendants with your newly made art sheet, cover base clay beads and get a uniform bead size every time.
This class is suitable for those who have some experience with polymer clay. The cost of this workshop is £80 and includes all polymer clay, use of all tools, all day tuition and a folder of notes to remind you when you get home.
