I’m thrilled to announce that a collection of my Art Clay Silver Jewellery entitled “The Leaf Falls Gracefully” has been accepted for exhibition and sale at Aberystwyth Arts Centre Gallery.

22ktgoldpendantLeaves are fascinating, textured and varied. I have captured and preserved Sage and old fashioned rose by painting directly onto them with the clay and then firing. What emerges is a perfect silver replica of the original form.

‘Roses’ are rolled by hand and then pasted into place onto hand cut leaves, ‘Sycamore’ is an impressed disc with an applied dark patina to bring out the detail and 22 kt Gold paste gives a place for the eye to rest amid the ordered natural chaos of ‘The Seasons’ collage pendant.
